Stream The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon on AMC+

The first season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is streaming on AMC+. So, if you already have a subscription, you can start watching right away.

New AMC+ subscribers receive a seven-day free trial, so you can also watch the show for free today. Simply sign up, enjoy all six episodes of Daryl Dixon, and then cancel your recurring subscription before the trial ends.

AMC+ is available in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Spain. However, due to licensing rights, the show isn’t available for viewers in India and Australia.

Australian viewers can see what our friend Daryl Dixon is up to on Stan, though. Alternatively, you can still watch the show on AMC+ even if it’s not available in your region. A VPN, like Surfshark, will do the trick.

It’ll enable you to change your IP address to one from a country where Daryl Dixon is available on AMC+. From there, it’s just a matter of signing up.

Watch The Daryl TV Series on NOW

If you’re in the UK or Ireland, head to NOW, where you can stream Season 1 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. NOW is one of Sky TV’s streaming services, so you can also watch the show with a SkyTV subscription.

Find The Walking Dead spinoff Daryl Dixon on Now

Once upon a time (before Brexit, that is), NOW was also available in some European countries. But those days are long gone, and NOW, like all streaming services, is geo-restricted.

So what now, if you want to watch, ahem, NOW? Get yourself a good VPN to change your IP address to the UK.

That VPN will let you stream Daryl Dixon on NOW, regardless of where you are. You may well be watching it from your home in Dubai, but NOW will believe that you’re in the UK and will let you sign up hassle-free.

Watch The Daryl Dixon Spin-Off for Free on TVNZ+

Ah, ‘free.’ One of our favorite F-words. And it’s true – you can stream the Daryl Dixon series on TVNZ+ without paying a cent.

We’re quite excited about this, as it’s the only streaming service we’ve come across where you can stream without a subscription.

Is there a catch? Well, TVNZ+ is Television New Zealand’s on-demand streaming service. It has lots of free TV series and movies to stream, but only if you’re in New Zealand.

And to make sure that only people in Land of the Long White Cloud access all that free content, TVNZ+ is geo-restricted.

In other words, if you’re signing in to watch Daryl Dixon with an IP address from outside of New Zealand, you’ll be denied access.

But if you use a VPN service, like Surfshark, then it’s just a matter of registering an account on TVZN+ before joining the masses of Kiwi fans of Daryl Dixon watching the show for free.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Series — Cast, Spoiler-free Plot, and More

After 11 seasons, the hit zombie apocalypse TV show The Walking Dead drew to a close in 2022, but not before leaving room for another spin-off — Daryl Dixon.

(The first spin-off, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, was released in 2020 and revealed that the virus originated in France.)

When we last saw hunter and former recruiter Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), he was saying his goodbyes: first a tearful one to close friend Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), and then a heartfelt farewell with Judith and RJ.

With a promise to Judith to continue the search for her parents, Rick and Michonne, she responds with, ‘Uncle Daryl, you deserve a happy ending too.’ Therein lies the irony.

He hops onto his motorcycle and heads out into the great beyond. Bon voyage, Daryl Dixon. End scene.

Fast forward to 2023. It’s the first episode of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and our protagonist is anything but happy.

He finds himself washed up on a beach in France. It turns out he had been captured by a paramilitary organization and taken across the Atlantic.

Daryl is understandably keen to head back to the US to continue his mission to figure out more about the virus, the variants, and of course, the whereabouts of Rick and Michonne.

But that plan is put on hold when he comes across Isabelle Carrière (Clémence Poésy), a nun who belongs to a resistance network — the Union de L’Espoir.

At her abbey, Isabelle tries to convince Daryl that young Laurent Carrière (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi), who also lives at the abbey, is the key to saving humanity and that Daryl was ‘sent’ to deliver Laurent to the Union’s Paris branch.

Daryl is naturally dubious, but after something rather nasty happens to the nuns at the abbey, he agrees to help. In return, Isabelle promises to get him back home. And so the saga begins.

If you watched even just one episode of The Walking Dead, you’ll know what you’re in for with this series. Grotesque ‘walkers,’ violent deaths, blood-spatter galore, and all-out zombie apocalypse wonderfulness, with great visual effects.

So, how does this spin-off compare to the success of the original series? Well, IMDb gives the original Walking Dead seasons an 8.1/10 rating, but Daryl Dixon comes in lower, at 7.6/10. And that’s on par with Rotten Tomatoes ratings.

That said, if you’ve been missing your Walking Dead fix since the series ended in 2022, Daryl Dixon will help ease the pain.

Plus, Daryl Dixon Season 2 is also already out as of September 29, 2024. Titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, you can guess who’s back.

A third season has also been announced, so there’s much more of Daryl to come. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of Daryl Dixon Season 2, although we suggest giving it a miss if you haven’t watched Season 1 yet.

Is it Worth Buying the Daryl Dixon Series Seasons?

If you have a penchant for zombie apocalypse horror (and who doesn’t?), The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has your name all over it. But is it worth paying for?

It’s a really great TV show, but, in our opinion, why buy it when you can watch it for free? You’ll find Season 1 of Daryl Dixon on TVNZ+, and it’s 100% free to watch with a VPN, even outside of New Zealand.

So don’t buy Daryl Dixon. Save your money and send your VPN to New Zealand instead.

How to Watch The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon From Anywhere

The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon is available to stream on quite a few platforms. If you’re in the US, you’ll find it on AMC+ and Netflix.

Viewers in the UK can stream it on NOW or SkyTV. Canada and Mexico fans have the option of AMC+ and Prime Video.

New Zealand viewers are the luckiest of the lot – they can watch Daryl Dixon for free on TVZN+. The rest of us aren’t as fortunate, and that’s because of licensing rights.

Streaming services hold the rights to offer Daryl Dixon and other series and movies in specific regions, so these platforms have geo-restrictions in place.

Take Netflix, for example. It gives viewers in the US the option to watch Daryl Dixon, but not Netflix users in other countries.

Your IP address is a dead giveaway of the region you’re in. And when the streaming platform sees your IP, they’ll automatically block your access to the geo-restricted content.

But where there’s a will, there’s a way. And in this case, that way is a good VPN. Let’s take TVNZ+, for instance. It’s a free streaming service for New Zealand viewers only.

Simply set your VPN server location to New Zealand and then register your free TVNZ+ account. TVNZ+ will believe you’re a local because your IP address is now from New Zealand.

The same applies to all other streaming services. Just set your VPN to the region it’s available in, grab the popcorn, and settle in for the horror extravaganza that is Daryl Dixon.

⭐ Editor’s Choice

These top VPNs are all excellent, but Surfshark stands out for two reasons. For starters, it has the cheapest subscription without compromising on performance. Plus, if you’re lucky, you can score more money off around the holidays thanks to the Black Friday deals most major VPNs offer.

It still gives you a selection of thousands of speedy servers around the world to ensure lag-free streaming on any platform.

What really impresses us, though, is that one Surfshark subscription can be used on an unlimited number of devices simultaneously, which is extremely rare for a VPN.

This makes it perfect for families. You can enjoy all the horror and gore of the Daryl Dixon series while your children watch something a little more, well, kid-friendly — all with complete privacy no matter where in the world you are.

Final Thoughts

If you’re in the mood for a little zombie apocalypse drama and horror, the Daryl Dixon spin-off won’t disappoint, especially if you’re a fan of The Walking Dead.

And it’s available to stream on various services. US viewers will find it on Netflix and AMC+, while if you’re in the UK, SkyTV and NOW are your best options. Daryl Dixon is also 100% free to stream on TVNZ+.

Like all streaming services, though, TVNZ+ has geo-restrictions in place. Happily, those geo-restrictions are no match for a solid VPN like Surfshark.
